The state education board statement came after the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) stated it may use pupils’ performances in Class 12, Class 11 and Class 10 examinations in a 40:30:30 ratio.
“Because of this outbreak, many pupils, particularly at Gujarat’s rural regions faced problems in attending online courses and several wouldn’t have been in a position to take part in internal examinations for Class 12.
This past calendar year, Class 11 pupils were awarded mass marketing.
Therefore, keeping in view the situation from the nation, we chose to offer more weightage to Class 10 functionality so all pupils can find a reasonable chance,” stated a GSHSEB official.
Even though Class 10 board outcomes will be awarded 50 percent weightage, Class 11 second and first inner assessments will take 25 percent weightage.
