Ahmedabad: On Sunday, the state will complete a one-year launch of Covid vaccination drive.
The analysis of the city and district revealed that seven districts – Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Junagadh, Mahisagar, but and Valsad – have achieved 100% vaccination.
Three cities – Gandhinagar, Bhavnagar and Junagadh – have also covered the specified amount.
Five other cities have vaccinated more than 90% of the target population.
The numbers have been revised for full vaccination status, said the state health department official, with the addition of 35 Lakh recipients in the age group 15-18 years.
According to the Cowin portal, the state has 4,404 vaccination sites where 4,362 are run by the government.
Of the total 9.46 crore doses, 5.01 crore was the first dose, 4.4 crore was the second dose, and 5.17 lakh was a preventive dose.
