Surat: A 39-year-old Assam farmer, a 13-year-old Vadodara child, a 29-year-old man – also from Vadodara – and several other people received a new lenton with the organs donated by two patients to death brain from South Gujarat on Friday.

“The two kidneys failed in 2012 and he needed a transplant.
Our mother Dudhiben donated the kidney to him,” said Gondalia Bharat brother.
The family came from Vibhania Village at Kalavad Taluka from the Jamnagar district.
“Earlier this year he again experienced kidney failure and underwent dialysis.
We understand the pain of those who need organ donations.
So, when we were told that my brother died brain, we decided to donate his vital organs,” added Bharat.
Gondalia’s heart and two corneas are harvested.

Dedhia’s heart was transplanted to Assam farmers who suffered from heart problems since 2019.
Transplantation was carried out at the MGM Hospital Chennai.
His kidney was transplanted to a 13-year-old child from Vadodara at IKDRC at Ahmedabad.
Other kidneys were transplanted into a 29-year-old man from Vadodara at Kiran Hospital in Surat.

A 46-year-old patient from Bhiloda from Sabarkantha Regency made the heart donated by Dedhia, the transplant was carried out at the CIMS hospital in Ahmedabad.
Gondalia’s heart was transplanted into a 59-year-old man from Ahmedabad at the CIMS Hospital.
