Rajkot: A 76-year-old man was found brutally killed at his home in Morbi when his family members went in Goa for the wedding function.
On Friday morning, a neighbor went to the house of the victim Dinesh Mehta to give him breakfast.
However, he noticed that the door opened and found Mehta lying in a pool of blood.
He rushed to the hospital but Mehta was dead at that time.
Mehta’s wife, son, two daughters and their husbands, are expected to return from Goa at the end of Friday night.
“All the items at home were intact and we did not find anything scattered.
We tried to make sure if the motif was looted or something else,” said JM Aal, Inspector, Police Office Morbi A-Division.
