GANDHINAGAR: Effecting another big round of reshuffle of IAS officers over a gap of 10 days, the state authorities on Saturday moved 77 IAS officials.
Allowing new postings to officials from the helper collector standing to the main secretary position, the state authorities made the largest round of transports from the present Covid-19 situation.
S Haider, MD, Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC); and Anju Sharma, chief secretary, high education, were one of the older officers moved on Saturday.
Their names hadn’t figured in the transports’ record before this month.
Haider was appointed chief secretary, greater education, in area of Sharma that was moved as main secretary, labor & employment division.
Harshad Patel, a 2005-batch IAS officer who had been appointed secretary, labor & employment division, a couple of days back, was forced MD, GSRTC, in area of Haider.
Among other appointments, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan state manager P Bharati was moved as labor commissioner and also Jamnagar collector Ravi Shanakar was moved as primary secretary, Statue of Unity.
New collectors for 23 of 33 districts Having an eye on meeting elections the next year, the state government has proceeded field officials, such as leaders, district development officials, along with other lower-ranked IAS officials.
These moves have been long overdue.
In a significant reshuffle, 23 of the 33 districts may have collectors.
Districts like Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Kutch, and Anand may have collectors.
DDOs of all 22 of the 33 districts are replaced.
R B Barad was named as portion of Vadodara, although Ahmedabad DDO Arun Mahesh Babu was moved since Rajkot collector.
Aayush Sanjeev Oak was named as writer of Surat, substituting D K Patel.
Sourabh Pardhi was appointed as author of Jamnagar, substituting Ravi Shanaker.
Yogesh Nirgude takes more than Bhavnagar collector, substituting G H Makwana.
Rachit Raj substituted Pardhi as Junagadh collector.
Four municipal companies will have fresh commissioners, whereas the authorities has shifted six regional municipality commissioners.
Rajkot civil commissioner Udit Agarwal was moved along with the newest RMC commissioner has been Amit Arora.
R M Tanna was appointed Junagadh civil commissioner.
V L Kharadi was termed Jamnagar municipal commissioner whilst D Patel is your newest civic commissioner, Gandhinagar.
A vital source stated,”All transports are made bearing in mind that the 2022 assembly elections” He went on to state:”People who had just completed three years’ had delivered poor performance also have been altered.” Many officers that did during Covid-19 pandemic and current cyclone have good postings,” he explained.
