Gujarat: 776 Children Lose Both Parents to Covid Killer

Gandhinagar: Coronavirus claims the life of the parents of 776 countries.
As announced earlier, the state government channeled a number of Rs 31.04 lakh to those who had orphans because of Covid-19.
The highest number of orphans because Covid-19 comes from the Rajkot district, because 58 children lost their parents to the killer pandemic.
This was followed by Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar districts, where 42 orphans were due to Coronavirus.
Gandhinagar district contributed the lowest number of orphans because of Covid-19, with 6 orphans from the district.
The state government has announced ‘Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana’ where all the orphaned children because Covid-19, will be given a monthly assistance of Rs 4,000 per month until they reach the age of 18.
While five orphans are personally submitting these numbers, those from various districts join through video conferencing.
