Ahmedabad: Gujarat government on Wednesday said the school could reopen for the In-Weon study for grade 6 to 8 from September 2.
It was decided at a state cabinet meeting chaired by the head of the head of Vijay Rupani and Deputy Minister of Nitin Patel, according to media release.
Minister of Education State Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said the government decided to continue the class education to maintain the future of students, while strict health protocols and health guidelines would exist to protect them from Covid-19.
More than 32 lakh students are expected to continue their education in-people in more than 30,000 government and private schools throughout the state, release assistance.
“Schools must provide adequate sanitizer facilities / cleansers and comply with Covid-19 guidelines issued by the government,” he said.
According to state government regulations to reopen schools and colleges in the state, written approval to send children to school must be provided by parents to schools.
The presence is not compulsory and online class will continue.
“As a result of the effective work of the state government, Covid cases are now continuing to decline throughout the country.
By remembering this, the state government has decided to start in-classes for class 6 to 8 at a capacity of 50 percent,” Chudasama said.
He added that strict instructions have been given to students to follow Covid-19 SOPs and transitional control guidelines.
The right social distance in the classroom must be maintained and teacher staff and students must wear a mask.
Earlier this year, the state government has allowed the reopening of schools for grade 6 to 8 students in the state of February 18, after almost 11 months of closing due to a pandemic.
The government must order their closure in March after the number of Covid-19 cases rises.
