Vadodara: Tension applies in the city of Chhota Udepur on Monday after two groups of clashes over sensitive videos posted on WhatsApp by two small boys.
About 40 people were booked for the attack and seven criminal conspiracy.
The police also carried out flag marches in the city of Chhota Udepur on Monday to ensure peace.
According to the police, two small boys have shared videos on their WhatsApp status on Sundays.
A group of boys from a minority community became anxious over the video saying that it hurt their religious sentiment.
“Children from the majority community get phone calls where they are asked to remove videos.
The problem is increasing on Sunday night,” said Vanraj Kamliya, Police Inspector, the Chhota Udepur Police Station.
A group of minority communities reached the temple where the experts gathered for paying tribute to Kishan Bharwad who was killed in Dhandhuka.
The group first entered the argument with a boy and then attacked them and someone else with an iron rod.
Some people received injuries in incidents that caused communal tension in the city.
The police have deployed additional security in various fields.
“We have filed complaints against those who post videos and groups that attack underage children.
About seven people have been detained,” said Deputy Superintendent Chhota Udepur, V Katkad.
Some of the right-wing organizations have also organized a general meeting in the Udepur Chhota on Monday to support Kishan Bharwad.
In Vadodara, Karjan and Padra Taluka also watched the bandh to support Bharwad.
Rally is also organized by several organizations in Talukas.
