AHMEDABAD: Much as Gujarat continued to observe a fall in Covid-19 instances, the state administration on Thursday reported the nighttime curfew enforced in 36 cities would be extended until June 4.
The state administration had on Wednesday chose to unwind the nighttime curfew timings by one hour, while maintaining the daytime time constraints in place.
According to a government launch, rather than the previous curfew timings of 8 pm to 6 am, the nighttime limitations on people’s movement would be set up till June 4 at 36 cities involving 9 pm to 6 am.
Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot are one of the 36 cities in which nighttime curfew is now set up.
Shops, shopping complexes, salons, APMCs and other industrial institutions are permitted to stay available between 9 am and 3 pm in these cities,” it said.
Restaurants can just offer take-away or house delivery solutions between 9 am to 9 pm at those 36 cities, ” the release stated.
But educational associations, auditoriums, theaters, restaurants, community halls, water parks, spas, fitness center, swimming and swimming pools, can stay closed from the towns, ” the release stated, adding that these institutions were asked to stay closed in the whole state.
As from the last week, there’ll be a whole ban on all types of spiritual, social and political events throughout the country.
While areas of worship will stay closed for people for one more week, sports programs and stadiums may function without audiences, ” the release stated.
The general public transportation services can operate with 50 percent capacity at the nation, it had been said.
