Morbi: Five people died after their car crashed into a stationary truck in the Morbi Gujarat district in Wee on Thursday, police said.
The driver of the car seemed to lose control of the wheel, after the vehicle was hit on the back side of the truck parked on the roadside near the Timbi Village on Jalan Raya Morbi-Maliya, said Radhika Bharai police supervisor said.
“The accident occurred when five men went into the car to Morbi City from Maliya.
Everything died in place.
Morbi Taluka police conducted further investigation into the incident,” he said.
The deceased has been identified as Anand Shekhawat, Tarachand Barala, Ashok Bilada, Vijendra Singh and Pava Mistry, said the police, added that it was not clear driving a car.
The main probe into the incident revealed that all the deceased was involved in the transportation business in Morbi, located around 200 km from Ahmedabad, and initially came from Rajasthan, police sources said.
