Gujarat: Former employees steal a gold plate worth Rs 37 lakh

Rajkot: Two people were arrested on Monday because of stealing gold plate worth RS 36.8 lakh from a golden coating company in an industrial plantation in Mahudi Road on October 12.
The police said that two accused of Gaurav Khinsuriya and Tejas Saretha stole a gold plate with a heavy 1kg of the machine owned by Himanshu Jogiya, a resident of Dhebar Road.
Jogiya told the police that very few would know that there was a gold plate inside the machine.
Also, only an expert or someone who is familiar with the work of gold coating that can remove the gold from the engine.
Suspecting that inner people might have committed theft, the police questioned all Jogiya employees today and before.
Khinsuriya and Saretha, who worked for Jogiya and were removed from work about a year ago, also questioned.
During the interrogation, the duo broke down and admitted that they had stolen gold plate along with CCTV cameras, digital video recorders, computers, weighing scales and pen drives.
The duo has broken the key on the machine and after removing the vacuum, steal the gold plate.
Both of them revealed that they had given the gold plate to their hands of Vijay Koli to sell it and the remaining valuables were removed in the pool.
