Gujarat: Gir Refuge Shut; Earnings down by 36 Percent

AHMEDABAD: The Covid lockdown and limited tourist action has resulted in a decrease in the earnings of forest division by roughly 36 percent as compared to preceding year.
Even the Gir Sanctuary, that has been shut since May 2, has been closed for vacationers from Tuesday.
The refuge will reopen for vacationers about October 16.
