AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat government has decided to grant Centre of Excellence (CoE) standing to seven private universities from the country, an official said on Tuesday.
According to an official launch, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Monday gave in-principle consent to grant seven schools that the CoE standing, so they earn their mark worldwide.
The listing comprises Nirma University, CEPT University, Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT), Ahmedabad University, Charotar University of Science and Technology and also Marwadi University.
The conclusion will enhance the standard of instruction at these colleges and provide them an”global touch”, Rupani explained in a statement, adding that the movement will also enhance research, creation and a culture to producing start- ups.

A comprehensive action plan on the way these colleges may contribute globally will be ready shortly, the release said.
Pupils will get excellent infrastructure and amenities such as finest faculties, labs and libraries and hostels, ” stated.
State Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama will hold a meeting with all the minds of those seven universities within each week to prepare an action plan, they might need to submit to the ministry in fourteen days, the release stated.
