AHMEDABAD: Approximately 10 days before, on May 26, a gigantic blaze tore through a slum at Vejalpur region of town, burning several shanties and leaving dozens of people displaced.
Sticking to the rescue of their slum dwellers, very good Samaritans haven’t just reconstructed 53 shanties, the slum dwellers also have been supply ration and utensils.
Zubin Ashara, who directs a group of approximately 150 volunteers that call themselves’Team Seva Yagna’, stated that 48 of the 53 shanties and each thing inside were burned in the fire May 26 in the slum.
“We’ve put up the shanties again using tarpaulin and bamboos.
Furthermore, we also have supplied fated and utensils for those who have been impacted,” explained Ashara,that deals in property.
When the next wave of Covid-19 has been in its summit, volunteers of’Team Seva Yagna’ supplied 250 to 300 oxygen free of cost to destitute Covid-19 patients.
