Ahmedabad: The Gujarat High Court on Friday once again attracted the Municipal Corporation Ahmedabad for poor road conditions and directed the city commissioner to submit a written statement stating the ‘concrete actions’ which had been taken because HC issued a lot of direction for true.
Road maintenance, removal of livelihood threats that are lost and maintain a smooth traffic movement.
The court also ordered the highest officer of the city traffic police to avenge the actions taken to improve traffic conditions.
The court asked what actions had been taken about vehicles parked on the road and in the parking zone.
The court was told that the state government had agreed to the AMC traffic policy and action will be taken immediately to implement it.
The trial was in the insulting petition proposed not to implement HC orders issued in 2018 based on pills complaining about the streets of the city of Potholed after the 2017 rainy season.
The Petitioner’s advocate, Amit Panchal, called AMC ‘Eyewash’ claim and complained that the livestock problem was lost and traffic problems survive.
He proposed that it was not only about the implementation of the court order, but the assignment of officials and once they failed to do their duty, the Civic body had to return taxes for the past three years to citizens.
The bench that is headed by justice A J Desai asks questions to the authority of the citizenship.
Ask if AMC officials are happy with road conditions and what happens in the city of Ahmedabad.
The judges say that work must reflect the road and not only on paper.
The court asked about the steps made to stop haphazard parking under the Metro train line and near the pillars throughout the city, which made driving on these roads difficult.
The court asked about poor road conditions along the Metro route and when AMC said that repairing the roads was the responsibility of the Metro Rail company, the court asked for actions against responsible officers in the company for poor streets.
The court also asked when the Civic body would complete an investigation which began with its employees for negligence on a damaged road in 2017.
When AMC furnished information about damaged roads, Judges said, “60% of your path is in a bad condition.” The court was looking for a reply from the authorities on November 22.
