Gandhinagar: The country is fully ready to face the third possible third wave of Pandemic Covid-19, Minister of Vijay Kupani said on Sunday.
He said this while attending the inauguration of the cryogenic oxygen tank at Bhavsinhji Hospital in Porbandar.
Speaking on the occasion through video conferencing, Kupani said that Covid-19 patients from Portherar District will get an oxygen source without interruption with the tank settings in the hospital.
Declare that there is a need to exercise many, cm say that the pandemic Covid-19 is not over and all safety protocols must be followed by people.
Rameshbhai Oza’s religious preacher, who dedicated the oxygen tank, said that he wanted and prayed that there were no patients who needed oxygen and that all remained free of Covid-19 infection.
He added that the need for oxygen was felt during the second wave of pandemic and all efforts must be made to ensure there was an adequate oxygen supply in the possible third wave.
CM said that with the help of the central government and various voluntary and religious bodies, the state government was in the process of establishing adequate oxygen generation facilities throughout the state to deal with the third wave of possible pandemics.
