Bharuch / Letter: Disaster Prevention and Management Center to handle emergencies arising because of harmful chemicals during transportation inaugurated in the city of Ankleshwar Bharuch on Friday.
This facility will also act as an emergency response center to track and monitor harmful chemical waste transportation.
A better global, an initiative of the Indian Chemical Board (ICC), has completed training for the first two batches consisting of 15 members in effective management to achieve emergencies.
The teams consisted of retired police officers and defense personnel and fire officers.
Ravi Kapoor, Chairperson, the ICC Sustainability Committee and Heubach Color Managing Director, “We intend to provide emergency support on the road to the chemical industry at a distance of every 200 kilometers with a total range of more than 4000 km throughout the country.
The emergency response team consists of retired police officers, Defense, and fire extinguisher.
This training focuses on human safety and material, rapid incidence assessment, regulating infrastructure facilities to handle situations, post-incident actions, communication and involvement of stakeholders, visibility and transparency of chandrakanant nayak, resident, and chief operating officer , Dow Chemicals India said, “This facility will ensure safe transportation from dangerous chemicals.

Large incidents occur because of excess speed, lack of sleep, pressure to reach time and anxiety.

The team will soon respond to around 11 sectors from various roads which include ankleshwar-thane, satara-belgaum, Belgaum Ranebennur, Ranebennur-udupi, tumkur-vellore, Ahmedabad-Morbi, Ahmedabad-Udaipur – Nagda, Shanker.
