Rajkot: A group of police vehicles searching for the problem of carrying a TAZIA procession in Salaya City Devbhumi Dwarka District, where five police personnel were injured.
According to the police, the masses gathered at around 11pm on Thursday night demanding to allow the procession.
Tazia procession is not allowed throughout the state because of Covid guidelines.
However, a rumor is scattered so that the police in several cities of the country allowed procession and mass demanded.
The police tried to convince leaders but it didn’t work.
The crowd began to throw stones and damage two police vehicles.
In this clash, one police officer, one police inspector and three Javan Gram Rakshak Dal was injured and some private vehicles were also damaged.
The police threw three tear shells and used the cost of Lathi to disperse a horde.
Sunil Joshi Police Inspector Devbhumi Dwarka District said that the situation was controlled today and the responsible people would be ordered under the relevant part of the IPC.
