Palanpur: North Gujarat The rainfall of rain is pounded by heavy rainfall on Sunday with Desesa and neighboring villages in the Regency Bans District that records maximum rain which starts early in the morning.
Hundreds of fields are equalized by rainfall of unrelenting in Desesa and the surrounding villages with farmers complaining of large losses on plant standing.
While Saurashtra and Gujarat were watching wet spells, North Gujarat was still losing adequate rain.
One person, identified as Ramesh Thakore, died in Baiwada Village near Desesa, after his legs slipped and fell into a lake.
The Head of Desesa Municipality officer said that while traders claimed humongous losses, the right damage to the property would be known only after Desesa detailed survey was whipped by a five-inch rainfall within three hours on Sunday morning, leaving most of the city that was very flooded.
Rain Waters gush to commercial complex stores and a large number of goods, including grains, damaged.
In Desesa Town, areas such as Sindhi Colony, Sant Anna High School, Lalchali area include inner waters, throws the normal life completely from equipment.
According to some estimates, nearly 300 fields in the region, most of the peanuts are based on rain.
Water levels in the fields of almost three to four feet, said farmers.
“We have suffered a big loss because our field has been fully flooded,” said Pawan Solanki, a farmer in Kansari Village near Desesa.
“The water has washed away peanuts, jowar, and other plants that are ready to harvest,” Kumbhaji Thakor farmers said.
Dantiwada also recorded nearly six inches of rainfall in just two hours, paralyzing normal life in the nearest cities and villages.
Bansaskantha still has a 24% rain deficit while Patan, Mehsana and Sabarkantha have a shortage of 15%, 30% and 27% respectively.
In the village of Gajera from Aravalli District, a cow died after being shocked by lightning.
The other North Gujarat district in Patan, Mehsana and Sabarkantha were also rolled under wet spells.
