Ahmedabad: After renovation and restoration work from the road to the city of Pilgrimage Ambaji to Gabbar Hilltop, the temple authority is now aiming to allow worshipers to do parikrama without footwear in about 51 replica shakti, in the form of a temple, in the form of temples and caves, has Built here a few years ago.
“We plan to allow pilgrims to take remnants of 51 Shakti Peeths from February or March next year.
This might be the first place where Maa Amba worshipers can take the Shaktipeths pilgrimage by the Parikrama,” said Anand Patel, Banskantha collector and chairman Shri Arasuri Ambaji’s eyes Devasthan Trust (SAAMDT).
He said that the final date will be announced after the discussion with the Gujarat Board Pavitra Yatradham Vikas.
At this time, work on footsteps recovery, which has been worn out for years, will be completed.
Unique projects were created to avoid Gabbar Hills in Ambaji, by building a look-up of all 51 Shakti Peeths at a cost of around Rs 61.57 Crore.
The Stone Foundation for this project was placed in 2008 and the work established 47 replicas of the temple and three caves was completed in 2014.

Parikrama is expected to take around three to four hours and the temple’s authority plans to allow pilgrims to take this trip for three to four days a year.
For 51 Peeths Shakti, the priest of the temple was sent to the Temple of Dewi Amba to find out how Aarti’s ritual was carried out and to study idols.
According to the Indian Scriptures, Gabbar Tirth, located on the banks of the Saraswati River in the Arasur hills in Ambica Forest is one of 51 pitch Shakti in India.
Dewi Amba worshipers can do all pillars of Shaktipeths or temples because their replicas have been built about a decade ago, closer to footsteps.
Replica includes Hingula in Pakistan, Chattal, Kartopatus and Sugandha in Bangladesh, Indrakshi in Sri Lanka, Gandaki and Guhyashwori Peeth in Nepal and Mansarovar in Tibet.
“Many worshipers are not aware of 51 Peeths Shakti and Parikarma will help spread the news about them.
In the future, we also plan to hold Yagnas and carry out other religious activities in every Shakti Peeth in Ambaji,” according to Patel.
