Rajkot: A woman, who was alleged to be a drug trafficking, was ordered for allegedly riding a 37-year-old man to commit suicide by forcing him to join his illegal trade.
The victim of Jayesh Rathod, who was a brother of the man who was accused of driver driver Sudha Dhameliya Kiran, was found hanging at his home near Sadhu Vasvani Road on Tuesday night.
Jayesh runs the paan shop.
The source of the university road police said that Jayesh was associated with Dhameliya because of his brother.
Dhameliya was arrested for having a drug on November 24 last year.
After being released on a guarantee after a month, he began to suspect Jayesh giving all information about his activities.
Accused him of being a police informant, he forced him to join him in drug trafficking to prove his innocence.
The police said that Kiran had disappeared with Dhameliya’s car two days ago, which made him angry.
“He along with his aides went to Jayesh’s house and threatened to kill him.
Jayesh was afraid and he committed suicide,” police said.
