Ahmedabad: Gujarat Trader Federation (GTF) on Monday moved a representation before Gujarat’s Head of Chief Minister, Vijay Rupani, tried to extend the deadline for mandatory vendor vaccination.
The state government on June 25 has issued a notification that made it mandatory for all traders and shopkeepers and their staff to be vaccinated on June 30.
However, because many cannot obtain slots or get Jab because of the unavailability of vaccines in various centers, the trading agency has transferred the application asking the government to extend deadlines.
In fact, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced a boost for vaccination traders in various markets in Ahmedabad from July 1 to 6.
