Ahmedabad: Gujarat and Height Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) said on Wednesday that reception for grade 9 and class 12 will continue until September 20.
For a large number of students who have been abandoned from the acceptance process this year, this comes as a relief.
Schools can register until September 20 after obtaining approval from district education officers for the same thing, said the State Education Council in the notice.
Because of bulk promotions, schools are expected to look in a hurry for reception.
Of the 7.92 lakh regular students, 60.64% or around 4.8 lakh students cleared the X-class board exam last year.
However, this year, around 8.5 lakh regular students are eligible to enter class 11.
According to the direction of the state government for mass promotion, not a regular student who fails.
GSHSEB provides grace value until 198 per student in many cases to ensure that they cleanse the 10th grade, according to the rules set by the state government for regular student mass promotion of 8.75 lakh.
