Ahmedabad: Gujarat recorded 24 new Coronavirus cases on Monday, taking the calculation to 8.24,517, while there was no fresh death because Covid-19 was reported from anywhere in the state, the Ministry of Health said.
Also, 74 patients were repatriated during the day, which encouraged the number of restored cases in the country to 8.13,998, he said.
No new Covid-19 deaths reported from anywhere in the state in the last 24 hours, keeping Corenavirus death unchanged at 10,076, the department said in liberation.
There were 443 active cases in Gujarat, where six patients were in critical condition, the department said.
The level of recovery of Gujarat is now at 98.72 percent.
A total of 3,92,953 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 on Monday, taking the number of doses given so far in the state to 2,97.34,497, he said.
As many as 2,19,997 vaccine doses were given to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 to 44 years, the release said.
Of the 33 districts, 22 did not report a new Covid-19 case on Monday, he said.
The Ahmedabad district and letters reported five cases, Vadodara Four, Bharuch Three.
One case of each case was reported in Morbi, Banaskantha, Somnath, Junagadh, Kheda, Rajkot and Valsad gear, the department said.
Union Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu reported six new Coronavirus cases and one recovery, officials said.
With this, the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in UT rose to 10,577, and recovery to 10,550, they said.
There are 23 active cases in UT, who have reported four deaths so far, officials said.
