Ahmedabad: At least 29 people were tested positive for Covid-19 in Gujarat on Tuesday, taking the calculation of state infections to 8,24,546, an official from the Ministry of Health.
The victim stood at 10,076 without fresh victims, while the recovery count rose to 8.14,059 after 61 patients were dismissed from the hospital during the day, the official said.
At present there are 411 active cases in the state, where five patients are in critical condition, he said, adding that the recovery rate is now at 98.73 percent.
According to official data, the Vadodara district reported the number of seven new cases, followed by Ahmedabad with six, letters with four, Dahod and Jamnagar with two, Banesttha, Dang, Gir Somnath, Junagadh, Kutch, Navsari, Sabarkantha and Surendranagar with each one.
Covid-19 cases in the Union Dadra area and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu rose to 10,585 with eight new infections.
