Ahmedabad: Gujarat reported 32 new Coronavirus cases on Monday, taking Covid-19 calculation to 8.24,274, while 262 patients recovered from infection, said the state health department.
Only one patient died in the last 24 hours – in the Anand District – Taking the total Covid-19 country fatality to 10,074, he said.
The number of cases restored rose to 8.13,399 with 262 patients dismissed during the day, the department said.
A total of 18 of 33 state districts reported zero Covid-19 cases on Monday, while other regions reported new cases in one digit.
Ahmedabad District reported nine new cases, four letter, Vadodara Three and Bhavnagar, Kutch and Rajkot, each of the two cases.
Now there are 801 active cases in Gujarat, where seven patients are in critical condition, the department said.
A total of 2,54,759 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 on Monday, taking the total number of doses given so far in the country to 2.81.15,181, he said.
The Union Dadra and Nagar Haveli region, Daman and Diu reported two new cases and six recovery, officials said.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 infection in UT rose to 10,560 and the case was restored to 10,535.
