Ahmedabad: Gujarat reported 93 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, second day in a row under 100 daily counts, took the Coronavirus calculation to 8.23,433, while 326 patients recovered from infection, the state health department said.
With two other Covid-19 deaths, the state of the state rose to 10,056, he said.
On Monday, Gujarat has reported 96 new infections.
This is for the first time in more than 14 months that the number of cases one day has dropped below 100 signs in Gujarat.
The country has reported 78 cases of Covid-19 on April 14 last year and 127 cases a day later.
At the same time, 326 patients recovered during the day, pushing the number of cases to 8.10.147, the department said in the release.
The state now has 3,230 active cases, he said.

In the Union Dadra area and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Covid-19 Tally rose to 10,527 with the addition of eight new cases, the local government said.
With seven patients being repatriated during the day, the number of cases restored rose to 10,481, officials said.
Now there are 42 active cases in UT, which has so far reported four deaths.
