Gandhinagar: After giving an offline education for class 9 to 11 more than a month ago, the Government Gujarat on Wednesday announced that the school would also be open to grade 6 to 8 of September 2 with a capacity of 50 percent and parents’ approval.
Previously, with the case of Covid-19 daily in the state down and after giving permission to universities, polytechnics and grade 12 students, the state government has enabled offline education for grade 9 to 11 from July 26.
Similar to SOP issued for colleges and polytechnics, and high school, elementary schools that do offline education must conduct education with a capacity of 50% and must be strictly following Covid guidelines.
The state government also mandated education institutions to get prior approval from parents of students present.
Attendance has also been made voluntary.
