Ahmedabad: Following the Covid-19 protocol, the schools in Gujarat have been reopened for grade 6 to 8 students on Thursday.
Given the Covid-19 situation which was enhanced in the state, the Gujarat government had allowed physical classes in schools to students from September 2.
Speaking to Ani, Sucita Shukla, Teacher H.B.
Kapadia New High School, Ahmedabad said, “We are very pleased that the government allows permission to reopen the school for grade 6 to 8.
Our school follows all the SOPs issued by the government.
Both children and teachers are very happy to come back to school.”

“We have done all preparations for students.
Staff will ensure that all students follow the Covid-19 protocol,” the principal added.
Students look happy and enthusiastic to attend physical classes today.
“Physical classes are better than online classes because we can learn with friends together here and can erase our doubts easily.
I feel happy to go back to school after 1.5 years,” said Aniya Shah, HB student.

The school has asked parents for written approval to be submitted, mentioning their permission to send children to school.
