Ahmedabad: After the central council decision for secondary education (CBSE) to expand the validity of the central teacher eligibility test (CTET), a similar request has been submitted by the teacher in Gujarat.
Gujarat Rajya Shala Sanchalak Mahamandal, a school management association and a grant school supervisor in the state, has made representation to the state government to make a similar decision to test teacher talents (TAT) and teacher heads) and customer’s customs.

In the circular officially released earlier this week, CBSE said CTET certificates will now apply to the lifetime of the holder.
Previously, the certificate was valid for 7 years.

TAT examination and htat are carried out by the State Examination board every year.
“The validity of the exam certificate is five years in Gujarat.
We want this to be expanded to a lifetime on CBSE decision lines,” said Gujarat Rajya Shala Mahamandal.
Examination is mandatory for all who want to apply for teaching positions and positions of school principals in schools and grant schools.
