SURAT: Using its online evaluation platform marred by technical glitches, South Gujarat’s biggest college — Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) — has been made to announce evaluation of mock tests in addition to internet assessments, alerting people of BEd and healthcare flows, in the last minute.
The college issued a notification on Saturday announcing postponement of these assessments till further notice as pupils faced difficulties while attempting to log into the stage.
Throughout the online tests, many pupils weren’t able to log into.
People who were able to log in’d barely attempted several questions once the system tucked out them.
These problems forced the college to call off most of mock evaluations and internet examinations.
Examinations of initial session of BEd which starts on Monday and of medical school is going to be conducted as intended.
The leading officials of the college place the blame for pupils stating that the incorrect contact details supplied by these, including cellular number and email address, caused the glitch.
On the other hand, the committee of the college is investigating the issue and is not capable of finding an answer shortly.
University sources said the server could have crashed because of its heavy traffic.
