Ahmedabad: Court session in Gandhinagar on Thursday was given a guarantee to 55 AAM AAM AADMI (AAP) workers, including Gujarat president, Gopal Italia.
They were arrested 10 days ago on charges of riots, sexual abuse, attacks and entry without permission to the BJP head office for the recruitment examination of officers carried out by Gujarat Subordinated Service Selection Board, and clashed with ruling party workers.
After protests, the state government canceled the written examination.
Gandhinagar police registered firs against a gang of 500 people and arrested 93 people, including members and AAP leaders, for creating a commotion at the state BJP headquarters.
The complaint was submitted by the BJP leader Shraddha Rajput.
AAP workers were ordered on charges of riots, sexual harassment, attacks, violations, attacks on civil servants, restraint and assemblies who violated the law, among others.
The court first provided guarantees to 28 female workers.
Then, 10 people, especially the drivers of vehicles where AAP workers have arrived, given guarantees.
