Gujarat: The rapist punished for life threw footwear on the judge in the letter

Letter: The 27-year-old man after being sentenced to life imprisonment for rape and the murder of a four-year-old girl threw two chappals, one by one, on the judge in the courtroom in the letter on Wednesday.
However, Chappal did not hit anyone and failed from the judge.
The additional court of Judge P Kala, a special judge under the protection of children from the Sexual Act (Pocso), had previously sentenced Soujit Saket on December 23 on charges of kidnapping and murder of a little girl in the Hazira region.
There were some anxious moments in the courtroom on Wednesday after Saket threw two chappals on the judge, when the formality was completed after the verdict.
Vinay Sharma, a lawyer who witnessed the incident, told Toi: “I went to hear the judgment.
The convict sat with his hands folded.
He shouted that ‘I did nothing.” He then took chappal and threw it one after another Dais.
“Saket was then removed from the court but there was no violation entered late at night.” This is a unfortunate incident and everyone must respect the chastity of the court.
I was told by another lawyer about the incident but there were no complaints that had been submitted in it, “said Nayan Sukhadwala, the Petitioner of the District Government.
According to the details of the case, Saket has kidnapped, raped and has unnatural sex with minors before strangling him on April 30.
The defendant also hit the girl with bricks.
The girl’s body, Indigenous Madesha Pradesh, was found in the bushes about 150 meters from her house.
The girl was lost from near the house on April 30.
Talking about court decisions, Sukhadwala said, “The court observed that it was a criminal crime and received maximum punishment.
We will approach a higher court after examining the assessment to improve further punishment.
“The court has examined 26 witnesses and 53 documentary evidence before giving an assessment.” His belief is the result of the police hard work, “said Police Commissioner Ajay Tomar.
