Gujarat: Those who beat Omicron said ‘Be careful, not afraid’

Ahmedabad: A 46-year-old Anand resident, the first omicron variant of the district, was dismissed from a civil hospital in Ahmedabad on Monday in the middle of the bathroom from the staff.
Dr.
Rakesh Joshi, hospital medical supervisor, said that he was the first patient to be treated for the Covid-19 variant and the first time was dismissed.
Speaking to MediaPereka, patients who recovered said he had been to England and returned to India through Dubai airport.
He was found to have Covid after the RT-PCR test at the airport, after which he was hospitalized.
“I only have paracetamol and multivitamins during my isolation.
I have no symptoms at all.
I want to tell everyone not to be afraid of the variant, but be careful,” said the man, adding that his status was fully vaccinated from preventing infection change critical.
He appealed to people to get vaccinations as soon as possible.
In the letter, the two confirmed omicron patients have a common symptom of sore throat.
The 42-year-old diamond businessman and the 39-year-old fashion designer was tested positive at the beginning of December.
The woman has a lightweight bodyache and headache too.
“I had a sore throat one day after I returned from Africa on December 1 before going to the wedding, I took the test on December 7 and was tested positive.
I isolated myself while the Ministry of Health team came and collected samples for genome sequencing,” said the businessman .
The fashion designer said he recovered at home and suggested residents to be careful, while confirming that there was no need to panic.
Vadodara’s first Omicron patient, a 75-year-old NRI from Zambia, at first, he didn’t even realize that he could be infected with the new Covid-19 variant.
“We reached Vadodara on December 7.
I have a simple headache, body pain and sore throat.
We consulted our family doctor and medicines continued for three days.
We were then tested positive for Covid-19 and then found to have a new variant,” The man said.
He and his wife were diagnosed with Omicron variants.
Both are fully vaccinated.
They say that all the symptoms are like flu.
They were dismissed after nine days of inpatient, while the other four contacts were dismissed on Saturday.
Dr.
R Trivedi, medical supervisor of PDU Hospital in Rajkot, said multivitamins, paracetamol and sufficient rest for Omicron patients.
“We measure all the parameters on time but there is not much change,” he said, adding that the patient does not require oxygen.
His tanzanian patient shared his experience, saying that he had severe headaches at first and his heartbeat also increased.
But finally the symptoms disappeared.
The students were unknown but had two RT-PCR tests back negative before coming to India.
