Kevadia: The next defense expo will be hosted by Gujarat in 2022.
This was announced by the chairman of Minister Vijay Rupani in Kevadia on Thursday after the Gujarat government signed the MoU for this effect with the Ministry of Defense Rajnath Singh.
Kupani said that the 4-day exhibition will be held between March 10 and 13 in Gandhinagar next year.
While the seminar will be held at Mahatma Mandir, the Helipad Exhibition Center will serve as an exhibition place for the Expo.
“We have good infrastructure for the production of defense equipment in the state.
Dholera Pak can be a hub for defense equipment production units.
In addition to having a large runway and airport, it also has enough land for weapons trials and testing reach,” said Rupani.
Singh said that plans were happening to host even the conclave of the Minister of Defense in the state.
Singh and Kupani were in Kevadia to attend the Gujarat BJP executive meeting led by the Head of the State Unit C R Paatil.
Along with key leaders, all MLAS parties, parliamentarians, members of the executive committee, the carrier of the state office and the district and city unit president attended the meeting.
This for the first time Gujarat BJP has held a ‘paper executive meeting’ meeting, where the invitation has been given a tablet with all the information and links needed to be related to the event.
