Ahmedabad: Moving from government guidelines for reopening schools, colleges and other educational institutions in the state, the University of Gujarat seems to have prepared a new controversy because it has stopped the classroom and told students from various departments to start in-class classes at capacity full.
“Students from various Guards Gu have been instructed to attend oncampus education from December 13, because online education has been stopped.
On Monday, around 40 students attended in-people,” said a source at GU.
So far the government has not issued direction to stop online education and return to in-people.
“This bllatant ignores government guidelines.
According to the applicable rules, only 50% of the class strength can attend the Inperson class.
50% of the remaining students are to attend the following day.
The university department has enabled students to attend classes without restrictions on their numbers, “Source said.
According to government guidelines, the presence is not mandatory for Inperson classes and online education will continue so that students do not attend classes directly.
