Vadodara: A 25-year-old woman suffering from mental health problems, which was chained by her family at Dahod, was saved on Saturday by one stop center of the Ministry of Women and Children.
The woman who lived in Bordi Inami Dahod Village was chained and locked up in one room by family members because of their mental health problems.
One Stop Center official said that before he was chained, the woman used to throw stones at the people outside his home and often left his house.
He was found and brought back several times by his parents.
But when they grow old and their health worsened, they chained the woman.
When one center stopped learning about the woman, they went to her house and got a chain.
With his parents’ consent, the officials shift to Mahila Ashram at Dahod.
