Repairing inheritance, employers from South Gujarat are now looking to explore new opportunities in the North East Tripura state.
The delegation of letter entrepreneurs from various sectors, led by President of the South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Dinesh Dinesh Navadiya, recently visited Tripura to explore new business opportunities.
Delegates visit the tea area, mega food park, industrial area, bamboo processing and furniture manufacturing units, rubber processing units and agarwood plantations.
“The state has a lot of potential, but is almost unknown outside.
There are many industries where entrepreneurs from South Gujarat can invest and the state government also promises benefits such as subsidies, GST replacement, among others,” said Navadiya.
Other delegation members say that Tripura products – both tea, bamboo, fruits such as pineapple, longnow and processed food – have a much better quality and much cheaper costs compared to other states.
It also has a lot of potential to be developed as a tourism center, said a delegation member.
“If there are entrepreneurs from letters or from South Gujarat interested, they can contact SGCCI and we can help them with further processes,” said Navadiya.
Some members of the delegation representing the textile and food industry have begun to examine market potential.
