Vadodara: The sensation of diving from a cliff directly into cold waters has been proven to be fatal for a Gujarati boy in Canada.
Rahul Makhija, 23 years old who has gone to Canada after completing a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of M 2019, sank on the Bruce Peninsula near Toronto about eight days ago.
Rahul’s body arrived at Ahmedabad on Friday night and was taken to the city late at night.
His body will be cremated in the city on Saturday.
Sunil Makhija, Rahul’s father, told Tii, “Rahul and his friends have gone to Bruce Peninsula National Park – Popular attractions – on October 20.
Some of them jump from the cliff under water under water.

“Makhija further said that Dr.

Harpur also said that Rahul did not seem to be equipped for swimming and minus water temperatures of 15 degrees Celsius.
“Rahul has just finished a digital marketing course at Seneca College near Toronto and plans to take another course,” said the father of the deceased who had a saree shop in the old city.
He further said that they had to face a difficult time while returning the body Rahul to Vadodara because there were many documents involved.
The deceased was the President of the BBA Student Association in the MSU and lived in Scarborough.
Rucha Manohar, who is a school friend Rahul, remembers him as an active student.
“Rahul always wants to finish something and wants to do something good in life,” he said.
Vadodara BJP MP, Ranjan Bhatt stepped in a few days ago and helped the Makijija family with all the necessary contacts.
“I contacted the Ministry of Civil Aviation led by Jyotiraditya Scindia and they immediately helped.
Rahul remnants were taken to Ahmedabad on Friday by Air India,” said Bhatt.
