New Delhi: Initial Police Investigation against Ankit Gujjar’s death in Tihar Jail has found that security personnel allegedly attacked him after the gangster slapped the deputy supervisor, officials said on Monday.
Police said they had recorded a statement of several prisoners and prison employees during the investigation.

Gujar was involved in several criminal cases, including killing a BJP leader.
Tihar officials previously said the three prisoners were submitted in the same cell until August 3 when they fought with prison staff after the cellphone was found from outside their cells.
The prison staff then shifted Gujar to another cell where his body recovered the next morning, they said.
After the incident, four prison officials, including deputy supervisors were suspended for alleged negligence.
Police special cell Delhi has arrested a 28-year-old man named Satender alias Satte who allegedly planned to endanger a senior prison official to avenge Gujjar’s death.
The satte asked his colleagues to get the AK-47 rifle to eliminate the deputy supervisor of Tihar Jail, Audio which later became a viral.
The satte was arrested on August 17 from the outer ring road, and a 0.32 bore semi-automatic gun with six live cartridges recovered from it.
In the meantified audio call, the defendant heard told his colleagues who had a AK-47 rifle to produce them more publicity and supremacy in the field of crime.
Gujjar, who came from Sunder Bhati Gang, was arrested from Greater Noida Uttar Pradesh along with the other three in connection with the murder of the BJP Vijay Pandit leader in 2014.
Pandit was shot dead by four people, including Gujjar, in Dabri on the night of June 7, 2014.
