Patna: Bihar is not possible to witness a lot of the impact of the Binab Typhoon, unless it is spread until the rainfall is broad enough for the next four days.
The typhoon was in the form of a heavy depression northwest and adjaced to the western bay on Saturday and it moved to the west-north-west.
According to the Skymetweather private weather agency, Typhoon Gulab can cross the South Odisha and coexist Andhra Pradesh on the night of September 26.
According to the National Bulletin issued by the Meteorology Department of India (IMD) on Saturday, Depression Deep was moving west 410km East-southeast Gopalpur in Odisha and 480km northeast Kalingapapatnam at Andhra Pradesh.
“The possibility of intensifying a cyclone storm for the next six hours.
It’s likely to move almost to the west and cross the north-south coast of Andhra Pradesh between Kalingapatnam and Gopalpur on the night of September 26,” said Bulletin IMD.
Weatherman claims that the impact of the storm of the cyclone is probably mainly in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and several places on West Bengal Beach too.
There is no weather warning issued for Bihar.
An official at the Patna Meteorological Center said lightweight rainfall was happening in one or two places in the northeastern and south-central part of the country in the last 24 hours.
The rainfall of the rainy season passes Jaisalmer and the city in Rajasthan, Sambalpur, Paradip and through the Bay of Northeast Bengal to Deep Depression in the Bengal Middle Teluk.
“As a result of the weather system in this region, light rainfall to moderation is likely to occur in several places in Bihar for 24 to 48 hours ahead,” the official said.
Meanwhile, Bihar has received 4% surplus rainfall in the rainy season until now.
In accordance with the data available on the IMD website, Bihar has received rainfall of 1025.6mm from June 1 to September 25 against a normal average of 985.9mm during the same period.
