SRINAGAR: The Five Party Alliance of the Party for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) has decided to engage with other parties in J & K to jointly throw for state recovery as a precursor to hold elections, map the long and rocky roads for restrictions on the constituency and recovery of democracy in Union area.
In another confusing signal, the alliance was announced after a meeting in Srinagar MP Farooq Abdullah on Sunday that each constituent would decide for himself whether to participate in the restriction training.
Restriction of PDP ex CM Mehbooba Mufti, all other parties in PAGD – including national conferences – tend to be part of the process even though it seems to set prerequisites for general elections, said source.
Chairman of the PAGD spokesman and members of the CPM Central Committee Yousuf Tarigami expressed disappointment of the results of all June 24 party meetings with PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi, although there were no participants who seemed to respond to the topic of J & K special status restoration during the dialogue.
“As far as regarding state recovery, it has become a BJP commitment on the parliamentary floor, and they must respect their words.
So, every assembly selection must be held only after full state recovery for J & K,” the alliance said in a formal statement.
“For this purpose, PAGD has decided to reach out to other political parties with a view to take a shared position on this issue.” The Alliance also reaffirmed its commitment to fighting for “unconstitutional and unacceptable changes” which was Difois on the people of J & K on August 5, 2019.
It was said that constituents would use all the constitutional, legal and political ways they have to fulfill this goal.
, At what was actually wrong in dialogue with PM, Tarigami pointed to “The absence of substantial self-confidence measures such as releasing political and other detainees from prison and taking concrete steps to end the siege and the atmosphere of oppression that had strangled J & K Since 2019 “.
“This (release of detention) will initiate the process of reaching the J & K people, which are the largest stakeholders and sufferers,” he said.
The PAGD decision to allow its constituents individually accepted a call on restrictions on approaching the national conference heel which held several meetings during the weekend to decide what to do.
Party Insiders said there was a consensus among the top stairs to join the restriction process, which will be carried out based on the 2011 census.
Led by retired Supreme Court Judges Ranjana Desai, the restriction commission has several members representing various parties, including Farooq and NC MPS Masood Husinan and Akbar Lone.
The additional election commissions and officers have invited all parties on July 6 for simultaneous meetings in Srinagar and Jammu on increasing assembly and parliamentary seats in accordance with the 2011 census.
The Commission separately will meet with members of social organizations.
