Ludhiana: The police on Monday claimed to have arrested the drug vendor after a kilogram of heroin recovered from him in Khanna the day before.
Owned costs around Rs 5 Crore.
The defendant Amandeep Singh was safe was a resident of Aali Nangal in the Gurdapas District.
Overcoming the media, Khanna SSP Gursharandeep Singh Grewal, “At the close checkpoint of Dhaba at GT Road, Libra, Hyundai Verna (PB-06-AZ-8295) who came from Khanna was stopped on Sunday.
The residents identify themselves as Amandeep.
During checking, one kilogram of heroin was found hidden under the driver’s seat.
“Following the recovery, a case based on the NDPS law registered at the conscious police station Khanna and the defendant was arrested.
During the interrogation, the defendant revealed that he came out with parole from Patiala Central Jail on May 12.
He brought Delhi’s heroin to supply him in Punjab.
Police said the defendant had the murder, the case peddling drugs and those who were under the ARM acted and prison acted against it in the District of Patiala.
