Gurgaon-Agra Bus Services Will Continue Today

Gurgaon: Haryana streets will continue the bus service between Gurgaon and Agra in Uttar Pradesh from August 7 other than the regular bus, the highway also plans to launch Volvo bus services on this route.
Gurgaon Depot from Haryana Roadways has announced that from Saturday, it will continue its Volvo bus service which was suspended last year due to covid-induced locking and a sharp decline in passengers.
Officials of the streets have claimed that this step will not only meet the increasing demands of the population, which has complained about discomfort due to suspension of bus services, but also helps the highway to use the 12 Volvo buses that have died.

“We gradually looked up in public mobility between countries.
Residents have raised demands to run the bus to the Uttar Pradesh section.
So, we decided to continue the service from this week.
We will introduce Volvo services on this route.
Initially, we will run only One bus, and depends on passengers, we will increase the frequency, “said Haryana Roadways Gurgaon Depot General Manager of Kulbir Singh Dhaka.
The first Volvo bus service on this route will run at 7:15 a.m.
on Saturday and reach Agra through Mathura.
To ensure physical distance and avoid passenger dormitants in the middle of the road, the highway only gives three stops – Palwal, Kosi and Mathura.
The same bus will depart from Agra after an hour of arrival.
“One hour before departure, drive sanitsasi will be done.
Passengers must report to the Gurgaon bus stand at least half an hour before departure to avoid rush and density,” said another highway official.
