Gurgaon gets 3,000 covaxin doses, Jabs will be given at 15 sites today

Gurgaon: City on Wednesday received 3,000 covaxin doses.
The health department is all regulated to increase the number of session sites up to 15 on Thursday.
One restriction, the second dose will be given on all sites.
According to officials, Covaxin will be given in nine sites and covishield on five sites, while on one site Sputnik V will be given.
“We will give Covaxin in nine sites because we have received more vaccine doses in the past week.
We hope to immediately get a covishield,” said Dr.
Vircener Yadav, Chief Medical Officer, Gurgaon.
On Wednesday, 9,005 recipients in the age group 18-44 and 4,153 people in the category 45-plus inoculated in the city.
A total of 66 health staff and 85 frontline workers also received Jab.
In all, 13,309 Jab – 9,665 the first dose and 3,644 second dose – given on Wednesday, where 1,586 recipients are inoculated on the site of the government session.
