Gurgaon: The city reported 45 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, taking the caseload to 1,80,257.
With this, the number of active cases has come down to 809.
The current positivity rate stands at 0.8%.
Three Covid deaths were reported on Saturday, taking Gurgaon’s toll to 846, of whom 572 people had comorbidities.
The case fatality rate in the city is 0.4%.
“Although the number of cases is declining, we are conducting around 5,000 tests every day,” said Dr Virender Yadav, the chief medical officer.
Meanwhile, a total of 12,500 people were administered the Covid-19 vaccine in Gurgaon on Saturday.
Of them, 10,244 people were in the age group of 18-44 years, 1,874 were aged above 45 years, 120 were healthcare workers and 262 were frontline workers.
