It is a bear teddy made of clothes from the deceased.
It’s very personal and I like the idea, “He said.
Svetleena is one of the many of Gurgaon and the rest of the NCR to see the post.
As a word deployment, Sameera Satija based in Gurgaon, the creator of this memory bear, was flooded with requests.
‘It started after I made a bear for my friend who lost his father Sameera, this initiative began as a personal project.
He told us, “Many people lost their loved ones in the past year and not only because of Covid.
I saw this memory concept bear a few months ago and wanted to replicate it.
Only after my friend lost his father recently and mentioned him miss him that I offered to make it for him to use his shirt.
He loved it and posted a picture of two bears that I made for him on social media.
Immediately, I get a lot of requests.
“A social activist, Sameera has worked by reusing waste materials to make products in the future Then too.
After receiving a bear request, Sameera asked for the clothes for some clothes belonging to the deceased and used it to make a teddy bear.
The contents in the bear also become clothing crushers.
‘Memory Teddy Bears’ is made of deceased clothes.
The bears are filled with these clothes instead of the way to be a special way to remember people who are loved for people who ask them, this is a way to stay physically connected with the people they love, who are not with them again.
Svetleena said, “This is amazingly personal.
It sits on my bed.
I see it every day, even talking to him.
So, it feels special.” Rupali Arora, who got a doll for his nephew, who lost their father to Covid last year, said , “I lost my brother-in-law to Covid last year.
I decided to bestow the two daughters of the teenage bear made of their father’s clothes as memory from him.
No one can replace it or fill the void but maybe, it gave them Solaca.” Sameera itself will not say he feels happy about that effort.
“It’s not something that gives me a joy.
But I just hope that in my own small way, I can help people who lose them close to them,” he said.
Create your own memory scholarship now making bears along with ASTITVA NGOs, with whom he is associated as sustainability and creative consultants.
Interestingly, Sameera refused to charge this bear.
“It doesn’t seem to be suitable for me to ask people for people so I do it for free, until the shipment of bears,” he reasoned, before adding, “But many people are reluctant to accept it for free.
For them, I have this option that they can donate the number Whatever they feel to NGOs.
“As news about this initiative spread by mouth to mouth and social media, Sameera gets demand from outside the NCR and even abroad.
He now plans to share the tutorial so that people can make their own memory bear at home.
