Gurgaon: More Options Now on the table for people traveling to Old Gurgaon, with Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited (GMCBL) Continuing operations along the route 221, which connects important parts of the old city, running between Rajiv Chowk and Station train.
According to officials, two buses will run along the route 5.2km at a frequency of about 30 minutes.
The entire route has a total of 11 stops, and provides access to some important parts of old gurgaon, including government offices in cities such as the Gurgaon Police Commissioner Office, Mini-Secretariat and District Court.
“The service along this route was stopped last year after broken pandemics and the pandemic was charged.
We are always open to continuing bus services wherever there is a request.
But if no income produced on the route, it does not make sense to continue the operation there,” said A senior GMCBL official.
“However, requests have emerged lately for route 221, so we have started service again.” The bus stop along the route is Gurugram Train Station, Lakshman Vihar Chowk, Sector 4/5, Bhim Nagar, New Colony, Subhash Nagar, Pratap Nagar, Sohna Chowk, District Commissioner Office, District Court and Rajiv Chowk Complex.
The first bus from the train station will depart at 7.45 in the morning and the last at 7:05.
Likewise, the first bus of Rajiv Chowk will depart at 8:15 a.m.
and the last at 7.35.
Commuter has been welcomed by moving.
Nilesh Kumar, a resident of Lakshman Vihar, said, “The fact that the bus has begun to plying on this route again is a big assistance for residents of these areas.
I have two young daughters who often travel to other parts of Gurgaon to work or meet friends or relatives.
For them, the bus service will obviously be a safer choice compared to autos.
But more buses must stick to the route.
