Gurugram: Acting on the announcement made by Minister of Manohar Minister Lal Khattar on Haryana’s Day, Bhondsi Prison Administration has released as many as 11 detainees.
These detainees are on parole or have sentences that are less than six months left.
Prison officials said that they released a sentence from 11 detainees on November 2, the day after CM Khattar announced that 250 prisoners lodged in various prisons in all states that had the term six months imprisonment that remaining will be released.
