Gurugram: For almost a month after the labor body filled with a sack was restored from a ditch along the Pandala Hill Road police arrested three brothers with the murder.
Two of the defendants, police said, had criminal antecedens and faced charges of rape and murder in separate cases.
The brothers, all residents of Rampura Village, allegedly had a fight with the victim, Hitesh Yadav aka Baccha, and had hit him with a stick before strangling him on October 9.
A pine was registered in the problem at the Badshahpur police station.
According to the police, the four men are acquaintances and will often visit their homes often.
On October 9, Mahipal – Mahipal alias Gujjar, Vikram aka Laundi and Dinesh alias Desha – Allegedly fighting with Yadav for several things and take a grudge against him, said PAL (crime).
“While questioning the defendant had told the police that later on October 9, the victim had visited their homes and they all had consumed liquor together.
Three accused, who was annoyed with Yadav because of the previous change, taking advantage of the situation and battered before the stick Strangling him to death.
In an effort to hide the body, the defendant put it in a sack and threw it in the ditch, “ACP said.
The body was found on October 16 after pedestrians saw sacks in the ditch, police said.
On Tuesday, the three brothers were finally arrested under the 201 Indian Criminal Code Section (causing loss of evidence of violations or providing false information) and 302 (murder).
“The defendant was produced in a local court on Wednesday, who sent the people to the police again to be questioned further.
We will soon restore and seize weapons and vehicles used in crime,” ACP added.
During the investigation, the police had found that two brothers, Mahipal and Vikram, faced charges in several other cases.
While cases on charges of rape, booty and battles have been registered at Mahipal at the Kherki Daula Police Station, Vikram faced allegations in other cases of murder, in addition to two cases of each looting and fighting in the same police station.
